Flag Post

For Christmas I got a new flag post for the condo!! I don't have a flag and I haven't put it up yet, but I got one. It is just a matter of when I can get my handy man (aka my Dad) over to get it up. There are a few other things I need him to work on too!!

Sassy Girl's Book Club 2nd Meeting

In December we had our second meeting of the Sassy Girl's Book Club, we read the Physick Book of Deliverance Dane. I was a little worried about how good it was going to be, but the best thing about this book club is that it gets you reading books you wouldn't normally read. It turned out to be a very good book about the Salem witch trials. The best part was that some of the book was set in the present and some was set in the past. It was very interesting to be jumping back and forth between the two sides of the stories! I'm almost finished with the next book and its a good thing too, because our next meeting is next week!!

Harry Potter

I finally finished the last Harry Potter book!! It took well over two years, but I'm finally done. I have a problem when I start books, but never finish them. It's not on purpose, it just happens more than I would like. I also have a problem when I get to the end of a series, that I have really liked and I just don't want to finish it, so I just stop reading in order to prolong the end of the book and/or series!!! I am very happy at how the book and series ended. I was worried for a bit while reading that it would be totally ruined by a bad ending, but it turned out to be a very good ending!!

Jon's Movie Picks

So, over the last month or so I've been watching the 5 movies that Jon picked for me to watch!! I had to watch - Gladiator, Taxi Driver, Clockwork Orange, Schindler's List, and for some reason I can't remember the last one. I will have to come back to it. There was quite a range in all of the movies. Some I like (Gladiator and Schindler's List) and some I didn't like so much (Taxi Driver and Clockwork Orange). Wow. that Clockwork Orange is a strange, strange movie. It took me two sittings to get through it!! It was good to watch movies that I wouldn't normally watch, because I would never in my life have watched Clockwork Orange and now that I have seen it, I know what it is like and probably never watch it again!!

Stockings

After many months of sweat, tears, and blood, I was able to finish the three stockings I set out to finish. Megan was amazing and sewed on all of the sequins for the stockings, I put them together and Mom put on the finishing touches! They turned out wonderful. Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to flip the photos, but there they are. All finished and Jenn and Jon loved them!! I was so excited to see how excited they were!!

New York Puzzle

Finally and I mean finally after many many months of sitting on our counter, I have finally gotten a frame for my New York puzzle that I glued together! I didn't quite fit, but I cut the sides of the puzzle and if fits perfectly!! Jacque helped me put all the up onto the wall and they look great!! I really like how they all turned out!

Annie Hall

I rented Annie Hall from the AFI best 100 list. I haven't found many movies yet from the list that I have liked. Annie Hall was very interesting!! Not my favorite, but it did win some big movie awards. Hopefully the next one will be better!!
